Prospective Alpha Epsilon Delta Members!

To join Alpha Epsilon Delta, you must meet certain standards required by Alpha Epsilon Delta and the Association of College Honor Societies. Membership in Alpha Epsilon Delta is an earned honor for life. A permanent record of your membership is preserved at the Alpha Epsilon Delta National Office and may be used for reference purposes, such as applications for graduate school and jobs. The Alpha Epsilon Delta National Office membership fee is $75. This one-time fee is for lifetime membership and a certificate. There are no annual National Office dues, but each chapter may have chapter dues. Local chapters may also have additional requirements to join their chapter.

Once inducted into Alpha Epsilon Delta, you are eligible to wear the graduation regalia, apply for Alpha Epsilon Delta scholarships, attend the Alpha Epsilon Delta national convention (held biennially), and submit articles for publication in The Scalpel, (the journal of Alpha Epsilon Delta).

Remember, you must join Alpha Epsilon Delta while you are a student through your local chapter. The National Office does not accept individual applications.

If you are interested in joining Alpha Epsilon Delta, please fill out the form and return it to your Alpha Epsilon Delta Chapter Faculty Advisor. The chapter will then determine if you are eligible for membership. We look forward to hearing from you!

Students and faculty are elected to membership by the chapter at the institution, according to the provisions in the Alpha Epsilon Delta Constitution. Any chapter, at its discretion, may establish higher academic standards for eligibility, but may not require service standards for eligibility. Membership in Alpha Epsilon Delta is open to qualified candidates of any age, sex, sexual orientation, race, handicap or disability, color, religion, and national and ethnic origin.
